Disney Land returns to Ocho Rios

Children in Ocho Rios and the wider St Ann can look forward to another fun-filled holiday season as Disney Land returns to Turtle River Park, Ocho Rios, on Monday, December 26.

The event, now in its fourth year, has added some new features, including a 'Parents' Land,' and area designed to attract adults to the event and to keep them occupied while the kids enjoy the rides.

Another new feature is a designated area for children under five years old, 'Food Land' - which is basically a food arcade - and several new rides.

Kids pay an admission fee to enter the park and then are able to ride for free all day.

There will also be lots of other attractions, including tricks from magician Jay B (Jerron Britton), the Elastic Man, the Snake Charmer, the Juggler, Mini Cyclist, LED Robots, along with activities such as face-painting and a games arcade for computer games.

"It promises to be a fun-filled event not just for the kids, but for adults also," said promoter Kirkland Kelly of Streets Entertainment.

"When the parents bring the kids they can stay and enjoy themselves, so although it might be a kiddies' event, we're catering for adults also. It's Boxing Day, so the entire family can come out and enjoy themselves."
