Gangsters shoot two children

July 06, 2017

Two children were yesterday shot and injured and two adults killed as marauding gunmen continue to wreck havoc across sections of the island.

THE STAR understands that a deadly feud between the Rastary gang and the Rat Bat gang is responsible for a major incident in the western end of the city.

Fabian Atkinson, 34, and 31-year-old Julio Daniels died while the two youngsters, ages 12 and 14, were hurt following shootings on Sunlight Street.

Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, spokesperson for the police, told THE STAR that the men were killed after gunmen invaded the premises and did not find their intended target.

"Based on early investigation, it would seem like what we call in Jamaica, "If yuh can't ketch Quaco, yuh ketch him shut".

The injured teens were treated at hospital and released.
