Rifles, ammo seized in Tivoli

Members of the security forces operating in the State of Public Emergency in western Kingston seized four rifles and other items in an area known as Bumps in Tivoli Gardens about 3:05 p.m., today.

Two AR 15 rifles, one AK 47 rifle, and a Winchester rifle were recovered.
Other items seized were fifty-four 5.56 rounds of ammunition, four .38 rounds, 11 sticks of explosives, several gun parts and six empty magazines.

Three persons were arrested in connection with the seizures. However their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
