Gun and ammo find in Kingston

One firearm and 35 assorted rounds of ammunition were seized on Gold Street, Kingston on Tuesday.

Reports from the Kingston Central Police are that between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., a special operation was carried out in the area during which a Taurus 9mm pistol, twenty-six .45 rounds of ammunition and nine 9mm rounds of ammunition were found hidden in a concrete wall.

No one was arrested in connection with the find. Investigations continue.
