Portmore Dance Theatre Company (PDTC), popularly known as the Portmore Dancers, made history as their Season of dance spectacle turns 10 this year. they celebrated with fans at Holy Childhood High School recently.

"This year has been a significant milestone as it was our 10th Season of Dance, 'Revolution'," said Anthony Carson, choreographer.

"The programme shed light on every aspect of our life, individually and collectively, likewise on our target audience. I'm quite sure everyone who was at the show left with a lot of inspiration when the curtains came down."

The main focus for 2015 was on Jamaica's national hero, Paul Bogle, leader of the 1865 Morant Bay Rebellion. Bogle agitated for equal rights and justice for Jamaicans.

"The closing piece for the night depicts all that Bogle did for us, and we should never, and will never, forgot where we came from. As artistic director of the company, the show was a success, and would like to thank the president of PDTC, Nahjah Campbell, and everyone else who made it possible. God bless you all and see you 2016."
