Konfydence - the next big female star
Having closed out 2015 with an impressive performance at Sting, Konfydence is ready to take her career to new heights.
Since her arrival on the local music scene in 2013, the Clarendon-born deejay has been touted as an artiste to watch, and she has not disappointed. For the last two years, Konfydence has proven to be a consistent recording artiste and stage performer.
Songs such as Some Bwoy a Bait, Tell Lie Pon Busy and Tek Dem Man has earned her a strong following among dancehall fans, locally and overseas.
"Dancehall music needs a hot, new female star, and I am working hard to fill that void. I represent the new generation in dancehall. I am young, hot and hype and am going all the way to the top of the musical ladder," said the artiste.
Konfydence is enjoying much attention with her single, Hungry Days.
"This song has a very wide appeal. It's message is universal. People all over the world can relate to it. It has shown that I am not one-dimensional, and I can explore many different topics with my music."
Konfydence recently performed at Little Ochie Seafood Restaurant in Alligator Pond, Manchester.
