Last year was a good one for rookie label Yard Style Entertainment.

The Portmore, St Catherine-based entity scored big with hit rhythm projects, including Extra Clip, Sweet Escape, Wire Dem and Pure Pleasure. Among the artistes featured on the projects are Beenie Man, Lisa Hyper, Gyptian, Rico Tayla, Serani, Konshens, Lady Saw, Capleton, Shawn Storm and Raine Seville.

The label plans to ride the wave into the New Year with a slate of singles and rhythms projects. Among the latest

projects are Haunted by Dexta Daps, Money Talk by Konshens and Vybz Kartel, and Armed and Dangerous by Rico Tayla.

"We have a lot working on this year. There are two major dancehall rhythm projects, as well as a reggae project that's coming out in the Easter which will be distributed by 21st Hapilos," Paul 'JJ Wizzle' Stephenson, one of the principals involved in the label explained.

Stephenson, who has been actively involved in music production for the past nine years, has production credits on songs including Running Away by Gyptian, Dart to Them Heart by I-Wayne and Jamaican Gangnam Style by Mega Banton, Gloc and Singer J. He has also collaborated with British rhythm and blues singer Keisha White and grime rapper Wiley.
