Dane Ray hits back with Dolla Dolla

Producer-turned-singer Dane Ray, has followed up his recent song 'Top Jockey', with a new single, 'Dolla Dolla'. The song is produced by Charm B Productions, a New York-based label which Dane Ray has been working with since November 2015.

"Charm B is the label I have been working with, and they are responsible for my career, including bookings. It is a good look to have someone on the international side pushing your music with the opportunity to venture in other markets," Ray, 24, who is from St Ann, explained.

Dane Ray scored a hit last year with Top Jockey, but his crowning moment came when he produced Charly Black's chart-topping single, Jamaican Every Day.

"Last year was a good year for my hit single Top Jockey, and it is still growing locally and internationally. I performed recently with Charly Black in Chile, and that was a major highlight for me," he said.

A video for the Dolla Dolla single is being planned for release in February.

"I'm bringing something different, musically, along with a new sound and new melodies. Not only am I an artiste but I also produce and play instruments so that puts me in a league of my own," he said.
