Pink Boss, Clymaxx win MKQ clashes

Season nine standout Unorthodox has made an early departure from Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall.

A disappointed but upbeat Unorthodox, who was selected for the 2016 staging of the show after many attempts, remains optimistic: "It's a feeling that is natural. You a go feel a way, but you nah go despair. Me still confident. It's just that the crowd never too balance and hear what I have to say. At the end of the day, is who them like. So it set."

Pink Boss, an obvious frontrunner in the talent series, won a very close battle against a short, sombre, and gifted Unorthodox. It was a powerful and engaging clash, which had judges and fans on edge.

On the flip side, a very angry Clymaxx went to war on her stage rival Tiffy T, a diminutive but strong performer who was decked out in her own military gear. Clymaxx unleashed lyrics that took the female clash. However, Tiffy T endured as the Producer's Pick and will move on to Castle Blue's next live show on Saturday, April 23.

"Me deliver what me think them (the audience) want to hear. Me just want to do me homework each week and just please everybody. In the streets, the people are rooting for me," Clymaxx said.

During her individual performance of War Time on the 50 Calibre beat later in the show Clymaxx launched a lyrical assault on Tequila of Castle Red, who mentioned Clymaxx's name while performing at D'Entrance the previous week.

The seventh live performance show in the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall talent series takes place tonight with performances from Castle Red contestants. Princesses Radyance and Tequila and Princes Blindz and Triple R are up for face-off, having received the lowest votes following their last performance.
