Dancehall deejay Spice has promised to deliver a massive performance at Reggae Sumfest Dancehall night on July 22.

Spice, along with Popcaan and I-Octane, will headline Dancehall Night at the Greatest Reggae Show on Earth.

"It's a great feeling to be one of the top acts on the show. My fans already know they are in for a treat from the stage show boss. It will be a spicy set from the entrance right through," Spice told THE WEEKEND STAR yesterday.

Reggae Sumfest made the announcements about the line-ups on Tuesday, confirming earlier pronouncements by Joe Bogdanovich, owner of the

festival, that there would be no international night this year for the festival.

"The kind of cost and money that is spent on international acts has become prohibitive," he said. "We'd rather not spend money on the outside, but to support our own," Bogdanovich said recently.

Reggae Sumfest organisers have announced Barrington Levy, Sanchez, and Tarrus Riley as the main artistes confirmed for Reggae Night.

The transformed Reggae Sumfest 2016 explodes in Montego Bay, with Sumfest Beach Party to take place at the Aqua Sol Theme Park on Sunday, July 17; the All-White Party hits Pier 1 on Tuesday, July 19; and Dancehall Night will be on the Friday at Catherine Hall.

"It is gonna be the same good vibes, more compact with more vibes," Spice said.

"People used to choose which night to come out, so I expect a bigger audience, more fun. The show will be crammed up, so I think its gonna be even bigger," she said.

Reggae Sumfest will end on Saturday, July 23, with performances from top Jamaican artistes, including Busy Signal and Christopher Martin.
