Fast-rising dancehall artiste Sweetx aims on conquering the dancehall business with her bold, catchy lyrics and her snazzy sense of style.

Her plan is to make an indelible mark in the business by filling the gap that has been there since Lady Saw left the dancehall music scene. She describes her music as raw but tasteful and realistic, and she has always been a proud advocate for the female population.

"Right now, Sweetx is all about the ladies. I want my female fans to listen to my songs and be entertained, but also to understand the lyrics because there is always a message in my songs for them," she said.

Since embarking on her career, the dancehall diva has released the sexy and highly provocative single, Sekkle and Kotch on the Dirt Floor Music label. She is also known for the song Champion Stuff on the Red Hot Peppa rhythm, produced by UIM Records.

Both songs were released early this year and have been getting lots of love, especially from the streets. "I have been getting a lot of love from my community, Allman Town, and I am grateful to have the support of my home town behind me. I look forward to greater things because these two songs have a lot of potential," Sweetx said.

Currently, she is signed to the Dirt Floor label, owned and operated by reggae-dancehall artiste Vybrant, who has taken her under his wings.

Though Sweetx is fairly new to the music business, she has her eyes on the prize. Fans of the up-and-coming sensation can also look forward to an upcoming video for the single Champion Stuff.
