Dr Sanneta Myrie to begin medical internship

One thing that is very true of reigning Miss Jamaica World, Dr Sanneta Myrie, is that she has been very busy.

Back from her groundbreaking voluntary service tour of East Africa, she is set to begin her medical internship at the Mandeville General Hospital in Manchester.  

Myrie graduated from the University of the West Indies (UWI) in November 2015, with the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degrees and went on to place fourth at Miss World 2015 in Sanya. China. 

The beauty queen also spoke at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC.  

During her reign, she has undertaken several charitable projects in needy schools and communities across Jamaica.
