Jamaica's rich dancehall history was certainly demonstrated at the recently held Ova Suh party, which was hosted by T.N.S. and Sasso Don.

The fashion, drinking top-shelf liquor, and dance moves, that can be seen at many dancehall events, which could be seen at the St Lucia Car Park in New Kingston as the disc jocks battled to see who could ignite the crowd's musical appetite the most.

Portmore's duo of Badda Bling and Likkle Richie, who are members of Di Unit; DJ Bishop Escobar; Chromatic; and X Factor were some of the selectors that kept the crowd on a high.

Dance songs such as Ding Dong's Gas made the patrons dance up a storm. The 'forwards' went up for hard-core songs from Masicka, Aidonia, Vybz Kartel, and Alkaline.

There was also a strong presence from promotional teams such as MAPS, Sandz, KGN 5, and others.

When the security forces pulled the plug on the event some time after 4 a.m., the crowd slowly made its way from the venue, with many eager to find out the next staging of the event.
