Glitz and glamour take over Hennessy V
Ankle-length dresses, golden crowns and galactic suits were the order of the night at Hennessy V: The Renaissance. The fashion-forward and style savvy event was held recently downtown Kingston.
A spectacle of glitz and glamour, and cheers to the decadence of champagne and cognac, the MOET Hennessy Team executed the epitome of exclusivity, regality and fashion with the recent instalment of the event.
The entrance platform of the 'Festival Marketplace' was a long, checkered, black and white runway - giving each patron no choice but to strut for the crowd. The DJ booth that was placed storeys high emitted the energy of an orchestra, with selector Bishop Escobar hyping the crowd almost until the break of dawn.
ELEVATED PLATFORMS
The elevated platforms for the very important patrons housed the fresh-faced, the classy and the dapper. Dancehall juggernaut Bounty Killer, donning his usual sunglasses, bounced and swayed coolly under the glowing lights.
Though the night was a fancy occasion, there was a fair share of fallen maidens who swayed off their heels by the ready and easily accessible bars.
If this staging was anything to show, and the organisers follow the flow, the next instalment should happen in a castle.
