Chronixx

Reggae artiste Chronixx was recently recruited as the subject of a short film by SHOWstudio, the home of fashion film.

Celebrating the launch of the spring-summer adidas Originals x SPEZIAL collection 2017, filmmakers Nick Griffiths and &SON produced a film with music composed by Matthieu Bost and Jeremie Dessus and narrated by Chronixx.

The scenes of the film captures a range of idiosyncratic Jamaican images. From treetops with a mountainous background, to small studio spaces and large speaker boxes stacked in a yard to a boat afloat in the ocean. The reggae revivalist is captured on wooden balconies on hilltops and standing before waterfalls wearing adidas trainers, tracksuits, sweats, and windbreakers.

"Roots and culture is what connects us to creation and the Creator," Chronixx said in the first moments of the film.
