Caesar's Army to invade Devon House
Jamaicans and foreigners gearing up for a week of soca madness are being promised paradise, performance and a premium experience at the inaugural staging of soca event, Mai Tai, on local soil.
Carnival heavyweight Caesar's Army, which is out of Trinidad and Tobago (T&T), will transform the iconic Devon House on Easter Monday into a soca playground for carnival lovers.
Event time is 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
"Patrons can expect paradise as a whole. Beautiful venue, great performances, an eclectic mix of music, premium liquor and an incredible vibe that patrons have grown to always expect from a Caesar's Army event," promoter Jules Sobion told THE STAR.
Soca heavyweight Bunji Garlin and his just-as-popular Trinidadian compatriot Shal Marshall will headline the event with musical support from a diverse cast of DJs from T&T, Jamaica, Barbados and the US.
"Mai Tai will provide a holistic, authentic soca party experience. We believe that we can bring more to Jamaica by providing something that is totally unique in nature rather than the usual," Sobion said.
