Fans of dancehall kingpins Vybz Kartel and Alkaline came out to support their favourite artistes at the third staging of Alka-Vybz which was held at Sabina Park in Kingston, recently.

Patrons were split between Gaza and Vendetta music and so too the selectors, as their juggling sided to a particular artiste.

The musical presentations, were by the Uncontainables, inclusive of the duo, DJ Barge and DJ Damion, Banka.

The crowd wasn't as big as the second staging but the organisers can still be pleased that they got a decent crowd, since the party was held in the peak of the Carnival season.

According to Ian Miles, the conceptualiser of the event, plans are in place for the first staging of Alka-Vybz overseas, scheduled for Saturday, May 6 in New York.
