Dancehall recording artiste Skillis has released a street anthem entitled Street Smart featuring US rapper Lil Baby.

"Thanks to everybody that's supporting my music. I'm looking forward to doing some shows this summer to push the song," Skillis said.

The song was produced by Ainsley 'Notnice' Morris for Major Moves Music. It was recorded at Street Execs Recording Studio, which is home to the likes of 2 Chainz, Young Dolph, and others.

Further recording on the record was done at QC Recording Studio, which is home to Migos, Lil Yatchy, and Lil Baby.

Atlanta-based rapper Lil Baby is one of the hottest up and, coming rappers in the US. He is best known for his hit single My Dawg, which is currently at 24 million plus views on YouTube.

Last year, Skillis, who grew up in St Ann before migrating to the US when he was in his teens, generated much attention with his first official release Money Pree.

Well received

The song was well received by the dancehall community and established him beyond the borders of Kingston as an official dancehall artiste.

Now Street Smart release is blowing up all over FM radio stateside and Jamaica.

The song has also made it to several street mixtapes, and is on the playlist of street selectors like Ruxie, Boom Boom, Hotta Rice, Supa Hype and Gugu Mental to name a few.

"There is an official music video in the works, the label is gearing up for a big summer push with this song," a representative of Major Moves Music, said.
