Ssense Dwyer looking for 2018 breakout

Island Jamz recording artiste Ssense Dwyer is currently enjoying street buzz with a handful of songs in the dancehall underground.

The singjay has been steadily growing in popularity and is keen on getting his big break in 2018.

"Over the years, Ssense has always been a name that the industry has been familiar with, but I am confident that 2018 will be the year the brand becomes a global one," he said. "For the first time, I have a cluster of songs buzzing at once and they are different concepts. Oh Na Na is a melting pot of sounds with a crossover appeal, while Hold A Vibes is a party track, and Heart And Soul is a reggae track for the ladies."

Ssense Dwyer, who is known for songs such as Karma and Like Grab, said he is not daunted by the fact that more controversial yet arguably less talented artistes often steal the spotlight with negativity.

"I am a positive person and as such, I cannot be anything but myself, and at the end of the day, I know I am a solid artiste. I know it's just a matter of time before my big break comes; it's near, I can feel the love in the streets," he said.
