Wormbass creates buzz with 'Reggaeman'
Reggae artiste Delroy 'Wormbass' Niven is no stranger to music.
His debut album Reggaeman, which was released in late 2016, has still been doing extremely well, awarding him many opportunities to perform on the international scene.
"The feedback on the album has been great so far, especially on the other side of the world, particularly Japan, as well as countries in Africa and Europe," he said.
Reggaeman is produced by Wormbass, under his own label, Jah Birth New Limited.
The 15-track album includes songs such as Cushion and Jah Light.
Wormbass is currently putting fire under the title track by releasing the accompanying video. The video was shot in Jamaica at various locations in Portmore and Spanish Town.
He describes his music style as roots rock reggae, with a bit of world beat in the mix.
Wormbass has been heavily involved in music for no less than 30 years, a feat that saw him performing in venues across all continents.
He spent the better part of his career playing the bass, notably as the leader of the Blaze Band, which backed dancehall artiste Beenie Man for eight years.
In between promotions, Wormbass is currently in the studio working on his second album. However, he is still raking in support for Reggaeman.
In addition to embarking on an islandwide school tour soon, he is also touring with the Inna Da Yard band, and just wrapped up shooting a movie documentary with them.
