ZJ Elektra, Black Mattic release new single
ZJ Elektra has teamed up with Black Mattic for the new song OAO that comes just in time for the anticipated football fever set to hit the world this summer.
In preparation for her upcoming debut album, Rebirth, Elektra released the afro dancehall single, which also features PhizBarz from Nigeria, and London-based Jamaican singer Khalia.
OAO was produced by ZJ Elektra and OGE, mixed by Juan Segovia of Spain and mastered by Lurssen Mastering of the Unite States.
ZJ Elektra said, "There is a lot of global involvement on this track and it speaks to how I want to showcase Jamaica to the world. We are still able to make music and not lose our sound and carry it mainstream so that others can enjoy."
ZJ Elektra has been working in the industry since 2003. Having developed the passion for all genres of music, she wanted to redefine music by breaking musical boundaries and helping talents in their search for their musical purpose.
After establishing the Elektracute Music Group in late 2016, she began working immediately on the Black Mattic: Top Striker Freestyle Mixtape Vol 1, which was released in January 2017 and which amassed 1.2 million downloads.
She merged with Black Mattic's label Official Hitz Music Group and began working with various artistes and producers worldwide on different projects, which allowed for the development of new content and brands.
ZJ Elektra wasted no time in releasing juggling rhythms, which were well received, including the Ragga Rhythm, which featured Dweet Den by Beenie Man and Choices Rhythm with Hate Is Real by Konshens.
