Magnum Xplosion heads to Trinidad and Tobago
Following an electrifying and successful Easter Monday staging in Providence, Guyana, and a spectacular beach party as part of the Barbados Reggae Festival, Magnum Tonic Wine is bringing its high-energy event series, Magnum Xplosion, to Trinidad and Tobago.
The highly anticipated event will be held on Saturday, June 9. Magnum Xplosion: Inferno will feature reggae heavy hitters Barrington Levy, Sizzla, Capleton and Busy Signal.
The show is slated for the Jean Pierre Complex in Port-of-Spain and will kick off at 9 p.m.
While previous Magnum Xplosion events have pulled together a more dancehall-based line-up of acts, Inferno is expected to deliver masterful performances from seasoned entertainers.
Marketing manager for the brand in the region Kamal Powell said, "Magnum is a very versatile brand, and all Magnum events will reflect that kind of versatility. So far, the Magnum Xplosion series has built a reputation around solid performances from talented artistes, and Trinidad will follow suit. The line-up is amazing, and we are excited about sharing this with our consumers."
Powell said the popular drink has found favour on the market in the twin-island republic, and "we want to not only continue this trend, but to bring the product to a wider cross-section of consumers".
"The nature of the Magnum brand is that we energise and dominate every space, and we are ready to 'tek charge' of Trinidad and Tobago," said Powell.
