After three years of trying, Street Team Dancers are Charles Chocolates Dancin' Dynamites.
The three dancers, AndrE Henry, Adrian Jonas and Kemar, not only received trophies and the title of the 2018 Charles Chocolates Dancin' Dynamite champions, but cash prizes totalling approximately $1.4 million, scholarships, phones and packages of goodies from the sponsors.
"We are very thankful to the people who voted for us and push us and tell us we can do it," said Jonas.
"Mi feel good because we put in a lot of hard work, sweat and sacrifice of sleepless nights and campaign during rain," Henry said.
Second place went to the talented trio from Anchovy High School, New Era Team was third, and fourth went to Unruly Skankaz.
Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia Grange, who presented the trophies to the winners, said the competition was great and that it "shows the versatility and dynamism of our young people".
Chelsha Bernard, a member of the 2006 all-female group, was honoured for still holding the same job given to her - that is, to teach dance. The guest artistes were Voicemail, Chi Ching Ching and Kevin Downswell.
Dancin' Dynamites conceptualiser 'Jenny Jenny' Small promised that next year, the 14th staging of the competition is going to be crazy.
"There is going to be a lot taking place outside, and it's going to have some mean elements to it," she said.
