DVoyce models to music career
After three years as a successful local and regional model, Dwayne 'DVoyce' Stewart is now focused on establishing a career in music.
His modelling career started in 2010 during a visit to Trinidad and Tobago, where he was spotted by Christopher Nathan - CEO for Top Model Trinidad and Tobago who cast him in the Trinidad and Tobago Next Top Model show.
DVoyce placed in the top three of the competition and was subsequently signed with Saint International, where he worked for approximately two years. During his time with the model agency, he appeared in commercials for Red Stripe and walked the runway for designers such as Carlton Brown, Balla Shawn and Spokes Apparel during Style Week Jamaica.
DVoyce's transition to music came in 2013, when his love for the art pushed him to leave modelling in pursuit of his dream. DVoyce credits his grandmother his for becoming an artiste.
"She believed that music is a vehicle that can be used to inspire change and always encouraged me to use my talent to invoke positivity."
Armed with her advice, he enrolled in the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts, where he completed certificates in music theory, voice training and guitar training.
Since his arrival on the music scene, DVoyce has debuted an EP titled The Beginning - which was produced by Soundalize It! from Romania.
