Ace of Spades gives ‘Double Dose’ of fun

After a thorough security check and walking two flights of stairs, patrons eyes meet the view of two flexible dancers whirling from a 25-foot pole.

Friday night was a special night for the Ace of Spades club, a fairly new adult entertainment entity on Knutsford Boulevard where international models and identical twins, Miriam and Michelle Carolus were scheduled to host the ‘Double Dare’ event.

The dancers, Lady Tequila and Lady Ecstasy were careful as they tag, teamed to dance on the ace of spades shaped stage and the few patrons that stood enjoying their drink choice at the bar threw $100 bills to show their love for the snake-like moves as they awaited what they thought would be the feature presentation.

Miriam and Michelle, who go by the title, ‘Double Dose Twins’ made their grand entrance to the nightclub after 1 a.m. and were welcomed with the usual double-take from patrons amazed by the flawless appearance of surgically-enhanced bodies. The two spent majority of the night having fun inside the VIP, being entertained by dancers before spending a few minutes with the disc jockeys of Illusion Sound to thank the guests for attending.

LOCAL DANCERS

One patron, with a puzzled expression on his face, said, “I thought the twins were going to be on the stage dancing and stripping.” However, that was never what Ace of Spades advertised, it was all about the local dancers who did a more than satisfactory job of flexing, teasing splits and ‘clapping’ their varied body types across the stage especially Lady Seductive who handled the pole with ease -  a crowd favourite with her upside-down twists and turns.

The overflowing tip boxes after each dancer graced the floors were proof that the patrons were entertained.

The music was fitting, alternating between R&B, hip hop and dancehall that had a few guests, as Marvin Gaye would say, ‘wanting sexual healing’.  Notably, the females outnumbered the males inside the club, showing more appreciation for the twin hostesses, which both Miriam and Michelle agreed is often the case. The party continued even after the special guests exited the nightclub, as many persons continued to make a line at the entrance at 4 a.m. on Saturday.
