Rondell Positive hosts 9th Heart Praise Worship Praise
Last Wednesday, Rondell Positive Music hosted the 9th Heart Praise Worship Fest, dubbed #PurposeCalling, at Colonel's Cove in St Thomas.
This annual, family concert held on Labour Day, featured performances from an all Jamaican line-up including Rondell Positive; Ian 'Ity' Ellis; Kevin Downswell; Kathy' Tan Deh Deh' Grant and Kimola Brown Lowe.
The inspirational event combined philanthropic efforts with great entertainment fit for the entire family in the form of spoken word, comedic acts, video presentations and, of course, music!
Amid crowd favourites from Positive such as Keeping Me Alive and Purpose Calling, fans were able to enjoy his latest song, Stressless Dance. Rondell Positive encouraged the audience to show off their own dance to shake away the stress and the response was over whelmingly contagious.
It would not be a Rondell Positive Music event, though, without a few motivational words from Positive himself on Purpose, the focus of this year's concert and his life. "I have learnt so much from the joy and life of my daughter, and it reflects even in this year's staging of Heart Praise. We wanted everyone to leave knowing that Purpose is calling. There is a reason that you're still here. There is something that only you can fulfil and we want to tell that to the world."
The proceeds from this year's concert will go towards the numerous initiatives implemented by the Rondell Positive team including providing 10 Heart Praise Great Start Scholarships to GSAT students to fund their first three years of high school.
