On June 16, Jay-Z and Beyonce surprised fans across the globe when they dropped their first joint album, 'Everything Is Love'. The nine-track effort marks a follow-up to Beyonce's 'Lemonade' and Jay's '4:44'. The album tells the story of how the two mega stars became who they are, and their love for the Jamaican culture was not left off the highly anticipated compilation.

The opening track on Everything Is Love is Summer, and the intro of the track features legendary selector, Rory from Stone Love. According to the official credits on the album, Rory is featured on the album as a vocalist. In the intro, Rory can be heard saying: "Right now inside the place, big up the one Jay-Z and Bey, slowing down the dance to a different type a speed. You know it's Cool and Dre deh pan di beat. You know a bl***c***t heat."

Rory speaks in patois and delivers in a style reminiscent with that of Jamaican selectors. The intro sounds similar to introductions old-school selectors would give inside the dancehall whenever a new track was going to be played.

It may come as no surprise that a Jamaican is featured on the pair's joint album as the two were recently in the island shooting scenes for visuals to be played during their On the Run II tour. It is not clear if Rory voiced the intro during the couple's visit.

THE WEEKEND STAR tried to get in touch with Rory to hear how he feels about the feature but was unsuccessful. Checks to his Facebook page, however, revealed that the selector, who is said to be residing in London, is happy about the inclusion. Posting the song to his timeline, Rory simply captioned it: "Irie to be a part of this tune."

Summer was produced by Cool and Dre, who are known for their work with Fat Joe, Ja Rule, The Game and Lil Wayne.
