Many persons turned up at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay with the intention of seeing their favourite dancehall acts perform on the first performance night of Reggae Sumfest last Friday. Although the show was jam-packed with headliners like Popcaan, Spice, Bounty Killer and Tommy Lee Sparta, there were bound to be some artistes who audience members wanted to see more than others. THE STAR decided to ask the patrons who they attended the show to see and if they got their money's worth at the end of the 'Greatest Reggae Show On Earth'.

Shadeen Johnson: "I came to see Spice because she has grown from where she was and she showed that with one of the performances for the night. She is 'Queen of Stage'. She said it and maintained it from what I saw, so my money was well spent."

Marzell Francis: "Popcaan and Tommy Lee. Tommy Lee mash up the place and Popcaan gwaan good same way, plus a Gaza mi say from day one. Me also rate Rygin King set, so it's a good a show."

Gregory Foster: "Popcaan because a my favourite artiste and I come to support him. He performed good, and I feel good about it. No regrets."

Donovan Donaldson: "I came to see Bounty Killer and Popcaan, and they both delivered as far as I am concerned. So I leave here feeling satisfied."

Jacklyn Davis: "The whole show was worth the price of VIP admission, and I got to see spice and Popcaan. They delivered."
