Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall 2018 competition winner Bluugo has taken the controversial route with his latest single, 'Doctor Fix It'.

The song, which is done with Fortune Unite Records, was released on October 1, and according to the artiste, it has been generating quite the buzz on the local scene.

The track, he explained, cleverly addresses the pop-culture phenomenon of body contouring, a craze sparked by the selfie culture on social media.

On the track, Bluugo takes on the persona of a plastic surgeon he calls 'Dr Fix It'.

The 'doctor' offers an assortment of breast augmentations, tummy tucks, butt lifts, and labioplasties (vaginal contouring) for female personalties striving for the perfect look.

In the song, he name-drops several females, including K Queens, Tifa, Yanique the Curvy Diva, Stacious, D'Angel, Macka Diamond, Spice, Dovey Magnum, Renee 6:30, and Gully Bop's ex-fiancEe, Shauna Chyn, as some of the popular personalities who have undergone some type of surgery.

Well aware that he may face some backlash for the name-calling, the entertainer said he doesn't care if anyone is offended by his lyrics.

"I heard that some people are planning to take action, so I guess they're not taking it too well, but, at the end of the day, I am just making music to entertain my fans," he said. "I mostly get good feedback from the streets, plus the radio disc jocks that have been playing it. The song is also on mixtapes in the dancehall, and the taxi man dem a blast it. Dr Fix It a tek off."

He said the song was inspired by the countless Jamaican women who have opted to go under the knife in a bid to obtain the perfect image.

He said surgeries are becoming more and more popular, and he fears it may soon become endemic.

The song is currently available on all major social-media platforms. There are plans to shoot a video next month.
