Hospital administrator Martin Isaacs is doing more than managing patient affairs at the National Chest Hospital.

When he is not making sure all systems are go at the health facility, Isaacs goes by the moniker 'Tin I Cool' the recording artiste providing 'godly content'.

"I just want to go into music that can reach people inspirational music. I prefer to call my music 'godly content' rather than gospel. It's the more hardcore side of gospel. In early stages of becoming a Christian, I concentrated on the scripture part, presenting my music from a biblical standpoint. I prayed about it. I can sing music that speaks about society, different from the Bible. We can sing about reality," Tin I Cool told THE STAR.

But his music is still undeniably very Christian. So far, the artiste's catalogue includes the songs God Bless, Ghetto Christian, Never Lose Faith and Jesus Christ Me Say, which has a music video.

Tin I Cool didn't start out so devout. Before beginning on the holy road, he spent some time trying to break into the dancehall music industry. It turns out that the dancehall scene wasn't for him.

"I was going out to studios, trying to get out there like any regular artiste, but the space I was in and the type of crowd I was around, I wasn't comfortable," he said.

Activities like smoking and excessive alcohol drinking put the aspiring artiste on edge.

He explained: "I was trying to get my music out there, but it didn't feel right to be in that space. It was like being around people you felt like you couldn't trust. I was in a zone where I didn't belong. So, you can call it a conviction from God, to give my life back to him and start going to church again."

For the past 14 years, Tin I Cool has been steadfastly and quietly working at his craft, with hopes that one day he could minister through music full-time.

"I've been underground, learning the craft and the business," Tin I Cool said. Now, the hardcore 'godly content' artiste is working with Dale 'Dizzle' Virgo of Geejam Studios, his musical mentor.

Last month, Tin I Cool released Pon Di Corner, produced by Dizzle.

For the holidays, he also released a festive track called My Reason, featuring Antou, also produced by Dizzle.

"I feel more comfortable in terms of where I'm at I feel like I'm doing something for God," he said.
