Dancehall artiste Macka Diamond says that although her separation from spouse Spotlight may seem like a publicity stunt, the break-up is real.

The entertainer told THE STAR that despite Spotlight coming out to the public proclaiming his love and an interest in marrying her, she has not heard from him in two weeks.

She also believes they may have reached the end of the road as far as their relationship is concerned.

"We argue all the time, but this time was worst. Yuh know dem type a cussing deh weh a rough words of destruction. I had to rethink everything, and I'm still in that mode," she said. "It's the first time I feel like I don't care if I don't hear back from him."

The Done Already singer said that Spotlight has accused her of cheating and has blocked her from his social media pages. She has also unfollowed him and is now puzzled as to why he would release a video seemingly trying to reconcile.

She said that while Spotlight has been accusing her of being unfaithful, she believes he is the one who has been cheating.

"He said things that made me think he was just using the argument as an excuse to see other women," she said. "Remember him cuss me already two days before Valentine's and then after, so that made me think he was playing around with someone. We argue all the time, but this time was different."

However, when contacted, Spotlight rubbished Macka's claims.

"Wow, I'm shocked. I have never cheated. I am shocked," he told THE STAR.

Macka Diamond said that she is now focused on healing and working on herself. But that although she thinks it is over between them, if Spotlight wants to talk things out, she would be open to having a discussion if he reaches out to her privately.

"I love this man. We going 12 years as friends, and then have a relationship one year and felt comfortable with each other. If he calls, it's time to answer," she said.

If things between them do not work themselves out, Macka Diamond said that she would be fine moving on and 'doing' her.

Meanwhile, she said that she is currently promoting her Instagram Live show, Best Friend Tuesdays, where she interacts with fans and introduces new material. To help promote her newest endeavour, the artiste has released a track, Best Friend. The song was produced by DJ Sunshine on the 'Kanta' Rhythm.
