‘Baby Skank’ taking social media by storm

Selector Neako Fire and recording artistes Halonai and Money Locks have pooled their efforts for a sizzling new track called Baby Skank.

" Baby Skank can easily be described as a fun-loving track that people from all ages can listen and dance to; it's a song about joy and just having a good time," said Neako Fire

The track is produced by Yaadoffamemusic based in Wynters Pen, Spanish Town, and was officially released earlier this month.

Neako Fire expresses that he got the concept from the popular Baby Shark song and he reached out to Halonai and Money Locks to lend their vocals to finish the track.

"Most people are familiar with the viral children song Baby Shark; well you can consider Baby Skank as the Jamaica remix to the song. I wanted a singer to do the chorus and Halonai had the perfect vocal, while Money Locks added the charisma."

The track is doing well, especially on social media, where it is creating a buzz and racking up the numbers on YouTube.

"The response has been overwhelming with vloggers and bloggers who have reviewed the song. In addition, the video with Dynamix Team dancers showing how to do the dance moves has got thousands of views already. This only goes to show that dancehall isn't dancehall without the fun and excitement," said Neako Fire.
