Starface song surpasses three million views

Dancehall artiste Starface is pleased that the video for her controversial Ready (Tough) video has generated more than 3.4 million views since its release.

The single was the female answer to Rygin King's smash hit Tuff.

"It's a great look. To see that Tough has over 3.4 million views shows that my management team is doing something right. The fans are responding to the hard work that I have put in, and the career is moving in the right direction," Starface said.

As the summer approaches, Starface is amping up promotion on Badman Loving, a single extolling the virtues of 'thug love'.

The single was officially released in May on the Redboom Supamix label.

"Women love to fall for bad boys. They are naturally drawn to men who are renegades and who have certain aggressive masculine qualities. I don't why that it is, maybe a just evolution or genes, but women typically love bad boys. So the response in dancehall to the song has been great," Starface said.

Starface, who had body modification surgery more than three months ago, said this has boosted her social media profile.

She plans to release a new single, Summer Bodie, talking about her body transformation and her new barbie doll shape.
