Ding Dong delivers high-energy performance at BRT

Once inside the Chicken Bone Beach venue at the Boardwalk in Atlantic City on Saturday, the long queues on the outside were quickly forgotten.

Pulsating music blared from the speakers while the BRT Weekend bar and food attendants were kept busy serving gallons of drink mixes and plates of salivating dishes. And the thousands of glow sticks made it clear that it was officially time for BRT Glow Eruption – the third party on the BRT Atlantic City weekend .

In an evening filled with  fantastic musical selections from Copporshot Disco, DJ Cruise and Massive, dancehall deejay Ding Dong and his Ravers Clavers crew stood tall with their high-energy set.

“What a party nice! Promoter mi waah yuh move the fence so mi can party with mi fans dem. Mi nuh waah nuh separation,” Ding Dong bellowed into the microphone, much to the delight of especially the patrons.

The Nannyville-born entertainer created a dancing frenzy with songs such as  Shampoo, Bro Bro, Lowe Mi Nuh, Skip To My Lou and Flairy.  He also invited a couple on stage to show off their version of the latest dances. While not silky smooth in their delivery, the couple did not embarrass themselves either.

Before Ding Dong’s captivating performance, Vincent Ross entertained the audience with a few singles which included Tip Pon You Toe, a collaboration with Shenseea.

When the party ended, patrons seemed disappointed that time did not stand still, at least for a day so they could glow some more.
