The Hillz was blazing - Jahvillani, Stylo G deliver big at Chi Ching Ching and Dre Hype party
Global star Chi Ching Ching and entrepreneur Dre Hype took it to the hills once again for their highly anticipated birthday celebration, Hillz Vision.
Customarily, the party pulled out all the stops - including appearances from dancehall's hottest acts. And happily, the event did not suffer the fate other Corporate Area events have recently.
Perhaps the altitude kept the authorities at bay, but this hillside event had most patrons exiting the venue tired and satisfied near 5 a.m. More than just a party, patrons and well-wishers were treated to concert vibes, featuring Jahvillani, Stylo G, Intense, I-Wata, Ras Ajai, Tacktical, and many others--at the inviting price of $1,000 (presold).
THE ATMOSPHERE
True to hosts homebase, Hillz Vision took place on the lawns of Pine Ridge, Stony Hill. Nestled among the trees, signs from major sponsors like Rumbar, Boom and Sensi cast cool mood-lighting over the grass and beamed through the leaves. Taking up the spotlights were groups of tireless branded girls who kept energies way up all night.
But there was still room for Hillz Vision to level up. Near 3 a.m., the stars began to arrive and what was good company exploded into a crowd. Then the crowd blew up further, with dancehall sensation Jahvillani opening the stage with his hit Clarks Pot Foot. The Wildside Government leader shared the stage with Stylo G, who entered the fray with enthusiasm, sporting a galactic get-up. Other performers like I-Waata and Intense also hit the stage to share their hits with the audience.
As the mic quickly became overcrowded, Chi Ching Ching exercised his hosting duties and expertly brought order to things. He then took his turn centre stage, before inviting the event's headliner, Jahvillani, to return and close the show.
