Oswald Martin and wife Angelee Martin, proved their love could 'Tek Charge' during the third and final staging of the Magnum Big 20 Party in Addison Park, Brown's Town, last Friday.

The loving couple, who have been together for more than 30 years and are very confident in their love, won a $13,000 cash prize, as they upstaged a younger couple with their effortless show of love and affection. The couple's prize was a small portion of the overall $400,000 cash giveaway for the night.

Over the past three weeks, party-goers of the Magnum Big 20 series had the opportunity to be a part of the $1.2 -million cash giveaway, as cash prizes totalling $400,000 served as a staple at each of the three parties.

SERIES OF PARTIES

The Magnum Big 20 Party series kicked off in Port Antonio town square on November 15, then moved to Independence Park, Black River, St Elizabeth, on November 29.

The series featured top DJs and artistes, with the energy at last Friday's event in St Ann boosted by Hatta Rice and Illusion on the turntables, and Chronic Law taking to the stage, much to the delight of fans.

The Martins were happy to participate and be rewarded while they had fun. Their love was obvious and MC Tripple X took them through competitive yet entertaining activities on stage.

The couple will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary next March.

According to Angelee, the secret to this longevity is simple.

"Thirty years together and almost 20 years of marriage has been rough and good. You know no one is perfect and sometimes they will slip up. As long as you know that if they slip up they can admit to their wrongdoing, you can deal with it," she said.

Oswald reaffirmed his wife's views and shared that he remains very committed to his family.

"Know that you not too big to apologise. Sometimes you do the wrong thing, but when your wife asks you about it, come straight and say 'baby, I am sorry', and as long as she accepts it, then you know we can move on," he said.

The couple, who have lived in Brown's Town all their lives, and are loyal Magnum drinkers, were elated with their share of the giveaway.
