Shenseea says Boom deal is a great match
She's already a brand ambassador for Campari Jamaica, has had deals with Pepsi and telecommunications giant FLOW, and now she has added Boom energy drink to her growing list of corporate endorsements. Dancehall's princess Shenseea says she stays winning because she's focused on securing the bag while drowning out the "noise" that's often associated with the dancehall industry.
"We don't focus on the noise, we try to make our own noise as far as business deals are concerned. Romeich Entertainment is one team, one dream, so they help me to stay focused on my goals and not the noise. All I do is stay focused on my music and let the work speak for itself," she said. "I've been dropping a lot of songs which have been creating a lot of noise for me, so I don't have to."
She said that it's no secret that she has received many endorsements in a short space of time.
"But all I have accomplished is based on hard work and dedication, as well as the fact that I'm a part of a team," she said. "Romeich Entertainment is a great team that works a lot with these corporate companies, and manager-wise, Romeich is very aggressive, so he always gets the job done. He has great ideas on how to incorporate the artiste with the brand, and that's how we keep winning as a team."
The latest endorsement deal will see the Trending Gyal singer appearing in TV and print ads, as well as producing jingles for radio. She says she is excited to see what the partnership produces.
"It's always a good feeling when you get signed to a corporate company because it shows that your work is being recognised on such a large scale that people outside of music want to work with you," she said. "It's Boom's 10-year anniversary, they are one of the leading energy drinks in Jamaica. I'm doing my thing as a dancehall artiste, so the partnership will be a good one. They are a product of Jamaica, and Shenseea is a product of Jamaica, so it's a great match. I'm looking forward to what the future holds for us."
