Last September when she released the single 'Top Striker', 2016 Magnum Queen of Dancehall, Clymaxx, declared it a winning track. Following six months of promotion and positive feedback, the entertainer says she will be releasing the music video for the track. She believes that with all eyes glued to the Internet, she stands an even better chance of commanding people's attention with her music.

"I had to do a reshuffle because I did a video already, but it never meet the expectations of the members of my team, so we had to do it all over, and so that's why it took so long. Plus, we did a do some promotion and thing which was very important. I released a preview on IG on Tuesday and it a get a whole heap a good feedback, a lot of reposts. Right now, it a hot up Instagram," she said.

"In the end, everything worked in our favour, because now is the right time to release new content as up-and-coming artistes. The world is stuck on their phones, tablets, computers, and so when you put stuff out there now, you are automatically guaranteed more eyes than before. You never can tell who will see your video, listen to your song and like it. You may gain a whole new set of fans from just putting stuff out and bombarding the people with fresh content."

The music video for Top Striker is expected to be released this Friday. Clymaxx says fans should expect nothing but the best; a steamy, well-put-together video to raise eyebrows.

Following her win on arguably Jamaica's biggest talent show in TV history, Clymaxx was poised to initiate a dancehall takeover. A lyrically potent bite-size powerhouse, the deejay was to stir things up on the music scene. She has not been able to make as much noise as she would have wanted coming out as Magnum's dancehall queen, but the artiste is convinced that it's only a matter of time before she does.

"Everybody have dem space inna di universe, innu, and so what must be, must be. Right now, me just a work pan my craft and find the best way fi present myself as a dancehall artiste. The thing is, everything takes time, and maybe things nah go as fast as I would have expected, but me still deh yah a put in the work and a remain consistent," she explained.
