Sherece collabs with Konshens on ‘Wine Up’

Blend the sultry voice of up-and-coming dancehall diva Sherece with high-profile artiste Konshens and what you get is a 'Wine Up' masterpiece.

Wine Up, which fuses dancehall and R&B, was produced by Nuh Rush Team, and is available for download on all major digital platforms. It was released on February 28.

"This collaboration (with Konshens) came about after I sat with my management team to discuss the song. I knew I wanted a collab with Konshens but wasn't sure he would be available," said Sherece. "My team reached out to him and he liked the track and promised to get it done and, as you can see, he stood by his word. Big up Konshens and the entire Turf and Nuh Rush Team."

Sherece, whose given name is Sherece Campbell, currently resides in Florida, USA. She is originally from Montego Bay, St James.

Her roots in music go way back through her father's influence. "I have been signing since I was a kid. I grew up listening to my dad, Sevan, who was also an artiste, and so singing was a part of me. I truly began to love music at age four," she said.

She continued: "Then I began to love listening to Rihanna, Busy Signal, Konshens and Fantasia," she said.

She believes that the track Wine Up has that "sexy vibes" and the international 'flavour' and will go places.

"The fans are really loving this track, I'm getting great response so far. I'm expecting to get some international attention from this song from various fans, critics, the media, and all who follow musical trends," she pointed out.
