Insideeus connects with ‘Big Choppa’

Dancehall artiste Insideeus has been captivating listeners with his single, Big Choppa, which was officially released last month.

" Big Choppa is a song about a certain lifestyle that is current. I choose to sing about what is relevant in the culture," he said.

Since its release, Big Choppa has been receiving massive support. The accompanying music video has already accumulated nearly 40,000 views on the artiste's Vevo page.

Shot by Lenkey 5 Star and Ricardo Champs, and edited by Pecadores Entertainment, the video premiered on the same day as the song's release. The follow-up track, Dutty Money, was released on July 15, and has also been performing well.

Perfecting his sound

Insideeus, who hails from Spanish Town, St Catherine, has been in the music business for the past six years, building his name and perfecting his sound.

"My style of music is a combination of old school, raunchy dancehall with a mixture of new school trap dancehall. I wouldn't limit my music in just one category because my type of music is far reaching and inclusive of all genres," he said. "I always try to have a unique concept and topic before entering the studio, along with an open mind, depending on the mood and vibes of that particular day," he said. His previous tracks include D espicable Whine, Mankind, Get Wild and Ecstasy.

With two new songs under his belt, Insideeus is on a mission to continue promoting his brand, hoping to spread his sound across the world, especially once the ongoing pandemic is over.

The artiste is already cementing his streaming power with the performances of some of his singles.
