A’mari locks horns with Macka Diamond - Neko singer says Dog Don has damaged her reputation
Recording artiste A'mari DJ Mona Lisa says she is heartbroken since hearing Macka Diamond's latest diss track, Dog Don, which was released on her OnlyFans account last week.
In the song, Macka Diamond made certain sexual claims about the Neko artiste, much to her dismay.
"I didn't expect her to come at me like that, especially since I don't have any known disputes with her. Actually, she is someone who I spoke so highly about being one of the only females in dancehall to show support for me. So when I heard from a fan that my name was mentioned in her song, I thought it was something good."
She continued: "Imagine, the week before that track was released, I was on New York's Caribbean Power Jam radio station giving her ratings, calling her a positive soul. I also realised she was in a dispute with Pretti Don and was ready to pay back my dues by being on her side, to defend her as a woman, only to listen to the song to hear her dog me in the worst way."
Take legal action
In a fit of rage, A'mari called out Macka Diamond on social media and warned her "don't start what you can't finish." She said that she intends to take legal action against the female veteran for defamation of character.
"Macka Diamond don't realise how much she has hurt me, body mind, spirit and soul. I was molested at eight years old by a 40-something-year-old woman, I spend years trying to understand what happened to me and it totally affected me in my personal relationships, and she going to talk about me performing oral sex with a woman, she out of order!" A'mari exclaimed.
"Macka Diamond not going to know what hit her; I am going to move like a submarine. She ain't no diamond, she is a fake. If it's 10 years from now, I going get her for dissing me like that and for the person she going put me with," A'mari said.
The entertainer, known for her tumultuous relationship with dancehall star Gully Bop, returned to the US a couple weeks ago after facing the St James Parish Court in Montego Bay where she was fined $22,000 for charges brought against her after she breached the Disaster Risk Management Act.
"I want to return to Jamaica very soon, and I will be speaking with my lawyers about the recent developments. I always try to avoid rivalry in the dancehall but all these females seem to be coming at me. I could understand if it was because I messed with her, but I did not. Macka doesn't know the depth of what she has started, I am going to come at her like the coming of Jesus Christ, she not going see me coming."
