Dancehall artiste Guesswah Boss takes a look at what's truly important in a track aptly titled Priorities.

"This song was inspired by a real-life situation where my phone fell and cracked so I had to buy a new one. I noticed the phones were really expensive, like J$120,000. I always prioritise my spending so I started thinking about how that money could buy blocks and go towards construction, something more substantial than a phone. So I was listening to some riddims the next day and the situation connected so the song came together from there," the artiste explained.

Since its release, the track has been gaining traction. The official music video was released on February 26 and has been well received so far.

"Right now, my focus is just growth and new levels of music, all styles and flows. I definitely see myself tapping into the international market so I'm setting no limit on myself, not even the sky," he said. Relatively new to the music scene, Guesswah Boss is already making an impact with his steadily growing catalogue that showcases his versatility as an artiste.

"I am a vibrant and deep-thinking artiste who's not limited to just one style of music. You can get a full reggae song from me as well as a song that's dancehall, trap and so on," he said. His previous releases include Probox, Style and Flow and Pull Up.

"I don't follow trends. I write songs based on real-life situations and real vibes, things that happen to me or things I see happening in society. My cognitive process is different so my music tends to be different and unpredictable, even to myself because it's just always a new level and new heights," he said.
