Maestro Don keen to show versatility

Maestro Don says he will be pulling out all the stops to ensure he stays in top form, following the massive success of his Senorita single, done with D'Yani.

"From ever since my aim and my plan was always to get out there and forever remain consistent and relevant and what you guys are seeing now is a crisper, fresher version of Maestro Don. Right now, me want people to know exactly who Maestro Don is because mi inna music fi leave an indelible mark, one that cannot be erased and now is the time with the attention I am getting," he told THE WEEKEND STAR.

The entertainer says that in addition to the release of his latest single, Active Mode, he is looking to drop a seven-track EP in October.

" Senorita helped me to tap into my female base and mi ago continue feed the ladies. I am going to step outta my shell, outta my box and be extra creative. Mi nuh try box mi self in as an artiste, but mi a work wid weh a work fi me at the moment and that is the ladies," he said.

But aside from 'gyal tunes' Maestro Don says he also wants to tap into the 'dance space' with Active Mode.

"The name alone self-explanatory. From yuh hear it, yuh affi get active. It's an up-tempo beat with lyrics about enjoying yourself, modern-day confidence with flossing type a vibe," he said.
