Shella Topstar on promo trail for new single
Recording artiste Shella Topstar has a good time on his recently released single, Badness Rave.
"This track is all about having a good time and happiness, just enjoying life with friends," the artiste explained. Fans were treated to a live taste of the track during his Reggae Sumfest performance in July, his debut appearance at the major music festival.
"My first Sumfest performance was just good vibes overall. The crowd was loving it, the response was great, and I'm glad I got this chance," the artiste said.
The official music video for the track, which was directed by Michael 'Don 1' Daley, was shot at Jewels Resort in Montego Bay, St James as well as in parts of Spalding, Clarendon.
Having made his music debut four years ago, Shella Topstar is already making a significant name for himself in the industry, with releases, such as Strap, Prove Dem Wrong and Daily. The artiste said that he had much more music in store, including an EP.
"I'm currently working on my new single, Isolate, which I will be dropping soon. I am also looking to do more shows and ultimately tour the Caribbean and other parts of the world. I am excited about the future of dancehall music and all forms of Jamaican music in general," he said.
