Burna Boy’s superfan, Leslie-Ann Stewart, has likened the Nigerian entertainer to music legends Bob Marley and Michael Jackson.

After three previous attempts to see the African Giant in concert, Leslie-Ann Stewart was ecstatic that Burna Boy decided to take his Love, Damini tour to her homeland.

Standing in the VVIP section at the National Stadium in Kingston, the 53-year-old Montego Bay resident told THE STAR that she pulled out all the stops to make the concert.

"We drove from Montego Bay to be here tonight," she said. "I've been trying to get him from Finland to Denmark. He was also in Madison Square Gardens (USA) and I just could not get a flight or a hotel. Everything had been booked. So to know that he came home to my home, it could have been a million dollars, it's the best million dollars that I'd have spent."

Stewart has likened the Nigerian entertainer to music legends Bob Marley and Michael Jackson.

"Bob is gone, Michael is gone, here is Burna Boy. That's it. This guy has an orchestra. Not two drum pan, an orchestra, not two guitar, an orchestra. He has all genres, not just one. He has everything."

According to Stewart, the fabled Burna Boy effect -- which manifests in female fans being overcome with emotion at his shows -- is due to the purity of his music and his mother's upbringing.

"Burna Boy, you have been obsessed and been anointed. You have broken every barrier. You have smashed record for us being black. When you go to Finland and see white people take to this man. And when you go to Denmark, we're not talking about us, we're talking about other cultures that have accepted him. It is something to be seen. People are crying, they are fainting. You feel is a Micheal Jackson. He's brought that back. And he's pure, like his music is pure. His mother, I have to say! Momma Boy, you did a very good job. I have to hail up mom and thanks for coming to Jamaica from all 2.5 million of us in Jamaica. Thank you for blessing us with your presence," she said.
