Valiant to perform in Canada

Rising dancehall star Valiant is set to perform in Canada on April 21.

"We're excited to have Valiant come to bless the stage here in Toronto," said Michael Collins, CEO of BYB Entertainment Group, one of the organisers.

"He has been in such high demand since his hit Dunce Cheque and we're ready to give Toronto this treat. Despite the challenges of putting this event together, we're looking forward to seeing everyone come out, we couldn't have done it without our whole team and the support of the local community." Le Noir Entertainment is the other entity involved in bringing the young star to Canada.

Valiant is set to perform at the Chateau Le Jardin. He was originally set to perform in February, but due to visa processing delays, the show was rescheduled.

Valiant has quickly become the people's choice across the Caribbean diaspora over the last six months. He is among the most charted artistes in the reggae and dancehall genre. Dunce Cheque has accumulated more than 20 million streams across all platforms, with his newer tracks like Weh She Love, Barbies, and Rasta pulling in more than a million streams.

Valiant, who will be backed by Dubbwize Band, will be joined on stage by host Linky Links, fellow Jamaican artiste Kayydyan, and local acts Eyesus, Ribba Don, Grizzly Cat, and Diamond Ice.
