Destiny Yisrael says she is no ‘dolly’
Gospel artiste Destiny Yisrael, formerly Destiny Sparta, is optimistic that her single Mi Nuh Dolly will help to cement her name in the gospel industry.
The single was produced by Sherwayne Music Production, and became available on all major digital media outlets on April 7 through OneRPM.
Mi Nuh Dolly explains to the listeners that Destiny Yisrael has no interest in getting her body done, and her main goal is getting her soul and heart right with God. Since its release, it has been doing exceptionally well and has gained recognition across the Caribbean.
"I am grateful. It has major crossover potential, and I am working to see it on major international gospel charts," said Destiny Yisrael.
After gaining a reasonable amount of airplay from local disc jocks and an immense buzz on social media, Destiny Yisrael decided that she will be shooting a video to support the track.
"The video will depict the words and feelings of the song, ' Mi nuh hot gyal, mi a nuh doll. If mi shape like box, still nah do mi body'," she said.
"I love the song, I believe it's essential for women to feel secure in themselves no matter their shape or size. You don't have to conform to society's standard of beauty which is the BBL trend. It's dangerous. Love yourself as you are because you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. What's important is getting our hearts and souls in a Christ-like state," she added.
While gearing up to shoot the video, Destiny Yisrael shared that she is working tirelessly with her team to establish her brand. The artiste is in the studio working on a project with Dajourney Music.
"I just want to say thank you to all my fans who keep on supporting my music. I am grateful and I appreciate each and every one of you," said Destiny Yisrael.
