Christopher Martin, Bounty Killer and Busy Signal have formed an alliance that is guaranteed to spell greatness.

It unfolds in the song Guarantee, which will be officially released this weekend, along with the accompanying music video. It is a remix of a Martin original, which is produced by Robert Livingston on the VP Records label. As Bounty Killer explained, the predicted success is based on a simple formula that has been missing from the dancehall -- the remixing of a great song to make it even greater. Livingston explained that during the conceptualisation stage, he was intentional in going for "feel-good vibes".

"We wanted a song that everybody would love and enjoy and have fun with. The beat is the first part of it and then we looked for the melody, then we all sit down in the office and started writing the song," said Livingston, at whose Big Yard studios the song was produced.

He added, "The idea for the remix came from Chris. We thought of putting on some younger artistes, but then Chris said the 'General' would do well on this and I immediately agreed. And we knew that we wanted to have Busy on it. Chris got the vocals and produced the vocals and everything clicked." The artistes said the single is "guaranteed to be a winner".

"Big Yard is like a big family to us. Christopher is one of my favourite artistes and Busy is Christopher's musical brother. I heard the song when it came out first and instantly I was taken on to the song and even called Chris and said 'Yow, yuh find it'. Then couple months later him call and said he wanted to make a remix and involve me, and instantly I was excited. Then yuh know, Busy get busy and it's guaranteed. Instant number one," Bounty Killer said.

Martin added, "You have three people who really love music. Secondly, the melodies are so sweet. It starts on a high and we don't drop it. From the General start it and then I came in with the hook and then you hear Busy come in, Selecta pull up da one yah cause dah one yah bad! That is word, sound, power."

"It's just the linkage. A just one phone call it tek and greatness happen ... guaranteed. A just the music and the love and the vibe and the song. The original song is great as it is and then when Chris top it up in a remix setting ...crazy," Busy shared.

"Sometimes when you have a great song, you can make it greater and that's what is happening with Guarantee now. Our local artistes don't know about that part of the culture. When you find the spot, you work it. We find this song and it is guaranteed to be a world smash," added Bounty Killer.
