Sampalue ‘Give Thanks’ on new single

Renowned producer, composer and songwriter Garfield Phillips, also known as Sampalue, is preparing to release his second audio project, a 13-track album titled Unmistakable.

He has already released the first single, Give Thanks, with accompanying visuals. Written and produced by Sampalue, Give Thanks pays homage to the Creator for all that he has provided humanity, while inspiring humans to be thankful and grateful for all we have, even the simple act of waking up every day.

"The song should appeal to anyone who sees it fit to give thanks for life and everything that encompasses it; hopefully, that is everyone. When we look at the beauty of living things all around us and all that the Almighty has afforded us, we should want to give thanks," Sampalue explained.

Taking excerpts from well-known folk song All Things Bright and Beautiful, Give Thanks puts appreciating the little things into perspective and is a great way for Sampalue to introduce Unmistakable.

Even though Sampalue started his own recording career in 2019 with his debut album Straight Outa Hanna Town, he has more than three decades of artiste management, writing, composing, and production experience for acts like Dennis Brown, Lady Saw (now Minister Marion Hall), Marcia Griffiths, Beenie Man, Sanchez and Ghost.

"I felt like it was the time for me to express myself as a singer, as I was always writing and producing for other artistes. Now I can release material that is unique to me and my image. So far, it's been a dream come through giving positive and real vibrations to the people, and I look forward to sharing more of my material to the world," Sampalue added.

Sampalue will also be embarking on a promotional tour in the US, starting this month, with stops in Conyers, Georgia and Berkeley, California.
