Demarco and Jahshii collaborate on ‘We Did It’

Demarco and Jahshii have teamed up for the song We Did It, which speaks about making strides and surviving against the odds despite the lack of support from others.

"They (naysayers) didn't support us, but we still survived the odds and showed them that we were able to achieve," said Demarco in a media release. Jahshii, for his part, said that whatever the circumstances, people should show support to others and their aspirations.

"Whether you believe in the person or not, just support them and their dreams. What any man or woman wants to achieve in life, don't try to hold them back. Just give them support; that support can change their lives in a positive way," said the Born Fighter deejay.

The video for We Did It was released on September 1. It was shot in Canada. Since its release, the video has garnered more than 150,000 views on YouTube. Up to Friday, September 8, it ranked No. 9 on the local YouTube Trending for Music chart.
